I try to keep a good selection of Three Investigators books in all formats at realistic prices - just compare to other on-line sellers.  If you are looking for high-quality collector material or you simply want some reasonable books for you or your kids to read, I may have it here.  If not, check back soon because I am always buying and selling and I update this page at least once a week.  Your satisfaction is guaranteed, purchase with confidence.  I'm a

well-known member of the on-line Three Investigators community and have participated regularly on each of the discussion boards since 1999.  I've specialized in the collecting/selling of Three Investigators books since 1998 and many on-line sellers use this site as a reference.

SHIPPING & INSURANCE RATES:

Media Mail Rate: Order 1 - 5 books and shipping within the continental U.S. is a flat $3.75.  (Most book sellers charge more than that to send just one book!)  Order 6 books or more and Media Mail shipping is FREE!  Media Mail shipping usually takes about 1 week for delivery but it can take up to 4 according to the PO.

Priority Mail Rate:  $6.50 for the first book, rates depend on the destination and weight of the package.  Up to 6 books can be mailed by Priority flat-rate for just $11.00.  Delivery takes 2-3 days.

Insurance Rates:  $2.00 for up to $50.00 of value, $2.50 for up to $100.00 of value, $3.00 for up to $200.00 of value and $5.00+ for anything over $200.00 of value.  I recommend insuring your books as I am not responsible for packages once they leave my hands.

International Rates:  Rates vary by destination and weight.  1 or 2 books can be sent to most countries by Priority Mail for just $13.00 in a flat-rate Priority envelope, up to six hardback books can be sent to most countries in a flat-rate Priority box for $42.00.  Some countries charge a tax or Customs fee upon importation.  I've sent books sold on this page to Germany, England, Ireland, Australia, Canada, Singapore, Italy, Spain, Austria, S.                                      just a hint of soiling but is still bright and yellow.  Textblock is nice and tight

#2 Stuttering Parrot(16b) - Bright, clean covers with just a hint of darkening to the yellow spine and a

                                      hint of rubbing to the corners. The textblock is tight, crisp and clean but there

                                      are some tiny tears to the first free endpage at the hinge where a former

                                      owner otherwise nicely reglued the textblock to the covers.  One other minor

                                      problem, when held to the light just right, you can see two words on the front

                                      cover: "I'm Ra??es" - I can't tell if it's in pencil or if it's just the indentation left

                                      when someone wrote something on paper with the book underneath.  In any

These books are just like the Random House Trade Edition books listed above except that they were designed to withstand the rigors of library use.  The covers sometimes exhibit heavy wear but the books are sturdy and will last for generations.  They are ideal for kids or for those who just want to enjoy reading a book without having to worry about possibly damaging a collectible book.  (Learn more about GLB's.)

#5 Vanishing Treasure - SCARCE later printing featuring the Robert Adragna cover art!  Contains the

                                     original text with Hitchcock and the Harry Kane illustrations.  This one's a real

                                     beauty with bright, bold covers and spine.  Spine tags professionally removed

                                     with no scarring and no faded color. The four spine corners are gently bumped

                                     with light rubbing and the four corners facing the rear of the shelf are gently

                                     bumped with two of them having just the tiniest bit of cardboard peeking out.

                                     There is a library tag on the rear cover that could be removed.  Nice square

                                     spine.  Pages are nice, tight and clean.  The remnants of the card pocket

                                     remain on the first blank page and the only other library markings I noted are

                                     on the title page.  One of the nicest copies I have ever had, this little gem (a

                                     member of the "Elusive Adragna 8") will add prestige and value to your

                                     collection or it will make a memorable Christmas gift for a discriminating

                                     collector.  $59.00

#11 Talking Skull - Wow, this one's a beauty that is nicely protected in mylar that could easily be

                             removed.  Super, bright, clean covers with virtually no wear to the corners or

                             edges and one small spine tag that will remove easily.  Textblock is super nice,

                             tight and clean with a small "property of" stamp on the first blank page and inside

                             the rear cover.  There is some residue on the last blank page which is probably

                             where the cardpocket was attached.  Outside edges of the textblock have some

                             light soiling and the name of the library stamped there but the page surfaces are

                             white and clean.  An outstanding example for the connoisseur of GLB's.  White eps

                             and lists to #30 on the inside rear title list.  $25.00

#18 Shrinking House - Nice, bright, clean covers with barely a hint of rubbing to the corners, no card-

                                  board.  One small library tag on the spine, bright spine is nicely protected with

                                  clear library tape.  When held in the light just right, one can see some light

                                  indentations on the cover surfaces like someone wrote on a piece of paper and

                                  used the book for a desk.  One library stamp on the first blue endpaper and a

                                  name in pencil on the first title page, else no internal library markings or

                                  stampings.  Pages are tight and clean but a few of them exhibit some creasing.

                                  A great GLB that looks really nice on the shelf!  $18.00

#20 Monster Mountain - SCARCE later printing (one of the prestigious "Elusive Adragna 8") featuring the

                                     Robert Adragna cover art!  Contains the original text with Hitchcock and the

                                     Harry Kane illustrations.   This one's simply a near mint beauty on the shelf

                                     with no external library markings or scars, sharp corners and barely a trace of

                                     rubbing to the tips.  Inside, there is the name of a middle school stamped on

                                     the second title page, but no library markings or cardpocket.  Wow, the book

                                     really looks and feels like it may have never been read!  However, someone

                                     added some crude, juvenile, "R" rated additions in pen to 4 of the internal

                                     illustrations.  Flipping through the book and admiring the uncreased, white,

                                     seemingly unread pages, I almost didn't notice the problem.  Despite this, the

                                     book is a gorgeous specimen on the shelf.  Help yourself!  $59.00

#29 Sinister Scarecrow - 1st print.  Light rubbing to the covers, corners and edges.  Corners gently

                                      bumped but NO cardboard exposed.  The orange background color on the

                                      spine has faded a shade but the text on the spine has not.  External library

                                      tags nicely removed with no scarring.  Spine is tight and square.  Textblock

                                      is tight and clean throughout with a couple of creased page corners, and an

                                      occasional light smudge but nothing that distracts from the reading pleasure.

                                      Library stamping inside the front cover and on the first title page.  Cardpocket

                                      inside rear cover and the last blank page was removed from the book. Overall

                                      a nice copy of tough title to find as a First Printing.  $99.00

#29 Sinister Scarecrow - 2nd print.  Super nice, bright, clean covers with no fading of color and no

                                      sign of external library markings!  Corners are all gently bumped but NO card-

                                      board peeking out.  Occasional light soiling to rear cover and a very small,

                                      lightly rubbed area on front cover.  Square spine.  Textblock is nice, tight and

                                      clean throughout with a few creased page corners.  Page 27/28 has a short

                                      3/4" tear which does not reach the text.  There is a library cardpocket on the                                           first blank page, but that's it.  Good luck finding a nicer copy for less than

                                      $200.00.  Help yourself, this one is $159.00.  Merry Christmas!Sold

#30 Shark Reef - 1st print. Wow, super nice, bright, clean covers with just a touch of rubbing to the

                          edges of the front cover.  Bottom of spine and two of the corners facing the rear of the

                          shelf have been gently bumped but NO cardboard exposed, other corners are nice

                          and pointy.  Very tiny area near bottom of spine that is slightly darker than the rest of

                          the spine - this is where the spine tag had been - tags professionally removed with NO

                          scarring.  Covers had been protected in mylar.  This mylar was glued to the inside of

                          the front and rear covers where some residue and light surface scarring is evident.

                          Cardpocket on first blank page, minimal library markings throughout.  Light corner

                          creasing to some of the pages, else textblock is nice, tight and clean throughout.

                          Please compare this one to the copy on eBay which currently has a bid of $199.00.

#31 Scar-Faced Beggar - 2nd print.  Light soiling, rubbing and wear to the covers.  The corners and

                                       edges of the book are all protected by clear library tape which apparently

                                       was applied once the book started to show some wear.  The edges and

                                       corners have some minor rubbing with cardboard just peeking out at two of

                                       the corners.  Top and bottom edge of the spine are worn.  Tag on spine and

                                       a cardpocket on the first blank page are the only library markings I note.

                                       Textblock is tight with corner creasing and an occasional smudge to the

                                       pages, else clean throughout.  $35.00
